 Guru Nanak Dev Ji (1469–1539) was the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus. Born in Rai Bhoi Ki Talwandi (now Nankana Sahib in Pakistan), he is revered for his profound spiritual teachings that emphasized equality, compassion, and devotion to one God.
