तोरणा किल्ला: Torna Fort is considered a symbol of the beginning of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Swarajya because it was the first fort captured by Shivaji Maharaj. In 1646, when Shivaji Maharaj was only 16 years old, he brought the Torna Fort under his control. At that time, the fort was under the rule of the Adilshahi Sultanate. By capturing this fort, Shivaji Maharaj laid the foundation for Swarajya — an independent state free from oppression and foreign rule. Due to its grandeur and vastness, this fort is also known as "Prachandgad". After its capture, Shivaji Maharaj strengthened the fort and carried out several construction works. Historians believe that the victory of Torna was not just the capture of a fort but the first step toward the establishment of an independent Maratha empire. That’s why Torna Fort is considered a symbol of the beginning of Swarajya and the realization of Shivaji Maharaj’s vision of an independent state. इतिहास:  तोरणा किल्ला महाराष्ट्र के स...
