15 August indipendent day

15 August

Today, August 15th, is Independence Day. It marks 78 years since the sacrifices of those revolutionaries and soldiers who became martyrs for India's soil. For 78 years, this day has been celebrated with great enthusiasm, like Diwali. This is because we gained freedom from British colonial rule and their oppression on this day. That's why it is celebrated with immense joy and fervor!

But have we truly achieved freedom? While we were freed from British tyranny, we still remain enslaved by our own negative thoughts and internal fears. Before starting anything new or good, we often worry about what others will say, whether our honor will be affected, and whether we should or shouldn't do something. Our minds are still engaged in conflicts based on caste and religion.

If we can overcome these fears and thoughts, then we will truly be free. Until we eliminate negative thoughts, bad associations, and distinctions based on gender, age, and other biases from within us, we are not truly free. We remain bound in some form or another.

Reflect on how and where we are bound and where we need to be free. Once you find answers, you will understand the true significance of Independence Day.

Happy Independence Day!
